WITHIN GREAT BRITAIN

  1. In an area that’s white, settle down,
    Sit on the sand that’s all around.

    ANSWER: Sandown, Isle of Wight

  2. Within a mouth this place is born,
    Sand and shingle, and neat public lawns.

    ANSWER: Bournemouth

  3. Inspired by this resort, so we’re told,
    The wonders of ‘Alice’ did unfold.

    ANSWER: Llandudno

  4. A picturesque port on the east coast look,
    Famed for its Captains, one is Cook.

    ANSWER: Whitby
