Issue 101, December 2009, of the club newsletter should be with members in the next few days.

The official club hunt for 2009, the 16 page booklet entitled The Enchanted Garden has now been published. Not only is there a valuable main treasure to be won, but there are several other prizes. The "Central Item" is a gold engraved token... there's a red herring which is also a gold engraved token... and four silver tokens for various riddles within the book. One of these has already been won, but three are still looking for a good home.

This, and all unsolved previous club treasure hunts are free to members of the club. So if you are not a member, join now!

Issue 100 of the club newsletter, postal strikes permitting, should be with members anytime now. With details of our celebratory Thaxted event organized by club founder Dan James, and all the regular features, it'll be worth the wait.

A new treasure hunt booklet The Enchanted Garden is being published with the 100th edition of our newsletter in September. Written by Charles Cunningham of Red Herring fame, this book is the exclusive club hunt for 2009.

The founder of our club, and the author of classic treasure hunt books such as Treasure & Helium Dream has written a new hunt for our September Meeting. Everyone is welcome to come along on the 5th September, meet the man and enter his hunt. Details are here.

The club reaches a real milestone in September, the 100th issue of the newsletter. The 99th issue is in production and looks forward to a very special club meeting organized by club founder Dan James, to be held in celebration, and also gives a tantalising glimpse of the 2009 club treasure hunt.
