Find five ‘Worthy’ English Places

  1. The most famous resident of this worthy house was a Victorian author, dramatist and statesman. The grounds have become a major venue for concerts.

    ANSWER: Knebworth House, Herts.

  2. In this village on the edge of the moors is The Parsonage, once lived in by very famous sisters.

    ANSWER: Haworth, Yorks

  3. Well known for its smugglers in the 18th century, but in more modern times this place has been home to a very worthwhile Workshop, a meeting place for musicians, actors and poets.

    ANSWER: Worthing, Sussex

  4. Immortalised by Turner and set in a ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped deer park, you can trust this place!

    ANSWER: Petworth House, Sussex.

  5. This cove is a popular tourist attraction with a natural horseshoe-shaped harbour. Think Jurassic Park!

    ANSWER: Lulworth Cove, Dorset.
