  1. Royalty was given to this place’s name with thanks to King John.
    Apparently he lived here, in a house with his name.

    ANSWER: Tollard Royal, Wiltshire.

  2. A village in the setting sun; a female monarch with a fine haired hump!
    Its church is said to have the heaviest six bells in the world!

    ANSWER: Queen Camel, Somerset.

  3. A King of weight in a small ancient market town, near the Welsh border and
    sheltered by a high ridge.

    ANSWER: Kington, Herefordshire.

  4. Tor Royal was the inspiration of a knight named Thomas with wit! Beware this
    bleak town in a park.

    ANSWER: Princetown, Dartmoor.
